Nobody Knows again looked a colt of considerable potential when making it two from two in the novice at Wolverhampton for Bernardine and Sean Mulryan and trainer Richard Hughes on Tuesday.
Although slowly away, the Wootton Bassett colt made light of his penalty to stylishly make up the ground under Finley Marsh and win going away from the well-fancied Sintra.
“He’s absolutely gorgeous,” said Finley Marsh. “Naturally ability got him to win today, it’s tight enough around there for him. They just went a bit too slow for him – he just wanted to use the big stride he has. He’s still such a big baby. He’s really exciting.”
“Bernardine and Sean Mulryan are the well-rewarded owners who can now start dreaming about their well-bred colt with entries in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and Derby,” wrote the EBN.
Nobody Knows is out of the Listed Prix la Sorellina winner Thai Haku, a daughter of Oasis Dream who is also dam of the Listed Garnet Stakes scorer Sarrocchi (in turn dam of another exciting current 3yo in Enchant).
He was sold by us at the 2024 Goffs Orby Sale to Derryconnor Stud, who resold him to current connections at last year’s Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-Up Sale.
