Marlhill Homebred Poker Face Wins Group 3 in Deauville

The Ed and Simon Crisford trained POKER FACE became a Group 3 winner in Deauville last week when he took out a competitive field in the Prix Quincey, run over a mile. Owned by Edward Ware, the improving son of FASTNET ROCK was unbeaten in three starts as a three-year-old and had already won a Listed race during his four-year-old campaign before his most recent Group 3 success in France.

The Marlhill House homebred is out of the GALILEO mare STARS AT NIGHT, also the dam of US Stakes winner STAR DEVINE and from the family of Classic winning BLUE BUNTING. A full brother to POKER FACE is set to be offered at Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, catalogued as Lot 724.
